In Ecclesiastes 3:1, it says that “There is a time for everything, and a season for every activity under the heavens.” Well, summer is the season for sweet tea, shades, and mixtapes! If you’re looking for Christian music that you can worship, sing, and dance to, these songs should be on your summer playlist:

As soon as I heard this single on the radio, I knew that it was going to become a huge hit. It’s more than a pop song: it’s a message that we, as God-fearing Christians, need to hear.
We live in a fallen world, where anger, pain, and suffering have become a huge part of our daily lives. When politicians, celebrities, and news anchors tell us that we should be afraid, we should remember God’s grace and the eternal hope that He has given us. As Paul says in James 1:2-3, “Consider it pure joy, my brothers and sisters, whenever you face trials of many kinds, because you know that the testing of your faith produces perseverance.”
If you like Christian electronic dance music, you’ll love Chris Howland’s latest EP! Draw Near has so many hits, but I am a huge fan of the lyrics in “Your Love”. When Sajan Nauriyal sings, “I’m in awe of what You did when You saved me, every flaw and every sin You forgave me,” I remember every time that God has healed something that the enemy has broken. I hope that it will have the same impact on you!
When I heard “Broken Prayers” on the radio, I couldn’t wait to listen to more of Riley Clemmons’ music. She released “Better For It” on May 24th, and now it’s one of the best songs on my summer playlist!
I’m a huge fan of indie music, and Graceful Closure’s “Never Let Me Go” is one of my favorite songs. As a Jamaican-American, I gravitate toward music that has percussion, amazing lyrics, and reggaeton vibes. “Never Let Me Go” checks all of those boxes, without compromising the song’s Christian message.
If you follow me on Instagram, you know that I love CASS’ music; this song is one of my favorites, and I know that it will be one of yours, too!
I love the original version of “More Than Air” from their debut release, WWJD, but I love listening to Hotel Sessions when I’m doing my daily bible study. This song is hauntingly beautiful, with lyrics that always remind me of God’s amazing love.
