    I remember what life was like when I worked a 9-5 job, from early morning BART rides to late night dinners. After six exhausting years in financial and academic sales, I am so glad that I left Corporate America for the thrill of running my own business.

    I have so much freedom as a freelance writer: I choose my own clients, I set my own schedule, and I decide how much I will earn from each project.
